After being released quite some years ago, Air Player for Raspberry Pi has been replaced by Air Player Desktop for ARM. Which means that you can run Air Player on (almost) any device with an ARM processor and Linux.
This means that you can run Air Player on for example an Odroid, Orange Pi, Banana Pi, Pine64, or any of the other many ARM boards. On the Raspberry Pi 4, you are now able to utilize both monitor outputs and rotate the screen(s). GPIO support is only available on Raspberry Pi’s. But of course you can connect an Arduino or Raspberry Pi Pico to your ARM board.
Everybody who has purchased Air Player 4 for Raspberry Pi, will receive a separate email with instructions on how to upgrade.
