For me the 4" i a bit to big. The 3.4 " is the right size for the ISFD but we need to get a board.

However this one looks like the exact shape for the chrono and ADF but not the ISFD But look at the price. :o

This would also work. It has a 70mm W +H dimension and would miss the tactile buttons on the Chrono and the same on the ADF, but also not the ISFD. Price is also not too bad.

So for the ISFD I would probably go with this display and the controler from here They are both the same interface. I will look for a cheaper board.

LCD with board bundles 😮
Targeting projects to be sold with return on investment 😉
can't see one of them much greater than 60mm AA.... so no use really.....

Hi,

The display bezel cutout is 112 x 19 so it should work.
Just the 32mm that is going to be a bit tight.

Yep, looks neat Keith :D
The overall size of the takes the 32 dimension to 40mm so it might be even tighter
If it will go it will be neat

It's worth noting that when looking at any lcd to always check the AA (active area) as this is where the image size is shown, and also the overall size as they can be very very misleading and you can end up with something totally unexpected.
Looking good.

what is the issue with tft ? - the only better option would be oled but the prices are off the scale at the moment and a lack of variety.
Are you thinking of TN ? (which is not related to TFT.
These are full IPS units and excellent resolution and viewing angles.

Oh I see. How can you tell, by the "Viewing angle: ALL"? It's nowhere mentioned.

Yes, that is enough, although practically ALL later LCD units are IPS viewing angles - often also quoted as 180 / 180. There is little TN production of any new panels.
IPS is a trademark so you often see things like VA etc, also a trademark. ALL or 180/180 is indicative, but as said all later panels - in the last 4 or 5 years are what we would call 'IPS'
