Beyond ATC using Air Manager

#1 Post by ewabob »

I made a couple of YouTube videos that primarily show the Beyond ATC application that also uses Air Manager. I use a DIY Knobster along with a self made Auto Pilot box I made with an Arduino Nano and flashed with Air Manager. The Air Manager software is great! I plan to make a YouTube video about my Air Manager based setup in the future. In any case, the Air Manager software usage is easy to notice in these videos.

I'm not sure how this uses Air Manager? I have never heard about this application, so I am probably missing something :)

Sorry for the confusion. Beyond ATC doesn't use Air Manager. Beyond ATC is a 3rd party application for MSFS that implements ATC functionality external from MSFS.

I use Air Manager when ever I use MSFS. In case of the videos I posted, I pop out the screens of the Citation Longitude and put them into Air Manager instruments. Hope this clears things up a bit. The videos were Beyond ATC focused, but they show the incredible power of Air Manager to make very useful cockpits very quickly. It really hit me when I started up MSFS 2024 and I don''t yet have a version of Air Manager that works on 2024. I gave up very quickly and went back to MSFS2020!

You can use the beta. But it might very well be that some instruments don't work.

If you want a nicer complete Air Manager panel set for the Longitude you can get it here.
