Android Air Manager Windows Ports Fix

#1 Post by old pilot guy »

Latest 4.2 plugin update disabled all Android connections. Disabling firewall temp fix. Attempted to open multiple TCP and UDP ports as in previous posts. No joy.
Used the following fix and all is well. Windows 11 X-Plane12 Zibo 737
open control panel/large icons/ category view/ windows defender firewall /
- restore defaults/ restore defaults yes
- open search box / cmd /right click run as administrator type ipconfig /flushdns enter
- netsh winsock reset enter
- restart pc
when you run a program for the first time may receive an allow prompt
Hope this helps someone else.

The new update 4.2.12 prevented the Android Tablet running the Zibo FMC from connecting. (Long time AM user, Z_2D_XP CAPT +FO Full).
AM Sim Innovations Google Play Store-reinstalled X3 before the above fix worked.

Hmm but I'm not sure what the desktop version has to do with the Android version. These have no knowledge of each other.
