That's already possible, you don't necessarily need a connection to the flight simulator.

I already use AM in that way for projects Ralph, it is just that I think you guys could make a fortune selling the product as a Messageport only product with no flight sim use. Simply for Arduino and Micro hobbyists for data and gauge display etc.

A good compromise would be to be able to disable if any simulator is available (presence polling), in a more standalone and decorelate running application

Hi,

First AM 4.3 BETA is only now.
Note that this is not a finished, and will surely still have issues. It does show where things are going though.

Biggest changes:

Redesigned UI
We moved to a new UI theme, where everything is a bit more elegant and consistant.
Also, the UI has been redesigned, where things (hopefully) becomes a bit less cluttered, and easier to use.

Better instrument layout
It is now possible to select instrument(s), and move them together or remove them as a group.

Code completion in Create/edit code editor
Pressing 'Ctrl + Space' in the code editor will show a little pop-up window where AM tries to propose variable names or API functions.

Communication between Air Manager and the Flight sim redone
The new protocol is more reliable since it relies on TCP instead of UDP. More testing is required to see if this introduces lag.

Playground 'store'
The playground store is an online location where you can quickly upload/download instruments to. It is usefull during development. Note that there is no quality control, so there might be incomplete/broken things there. You can upload from the create/edit tab, and downloading is done through the regular way, but you first have to enable the playground in the AM settings.

Simstrumentation
There is a dedicated store for Simstrumentation. The idea is that the Simstrumentation guys can place instruments/panels there. They will show up among the existing AM panels, and can be added like any other instrument panel.

Very small issue in 4.3 BETA 1, in "Dark Mode", the description field is displayed with white background, where in the opposite, in other area it's handled with dark background in a proper way

Opposite and expected way :

Hi,

With more and more glass instruments becoming available we are trying to replicate. So.....

1) Touch screen swipe (left and right) and swipe (up and down)

2) Two finger in and out. (ZOOM FUNCTION).

Thanks
