Hi,

Added to my TODO, but don't expect this any time soon. Not many people use the Import feature.
Also I would like to not emphasis it to much, since dealing with files can be a pain.

I'm still agreeing with Thierry and Tony, it would be very useful to think Global with All/None where required ...

Hi,

In the hardware console, I would like to see a matrix of the "hw_button_array_add"
Instead of one having to check the row and column and then activate the push button. Just have a matrix and we just push the matrix button. The unused buttons could be grayed out.
We are talking about a maximum 8x8 matri, not.
So just like you have a box for the charactor displays, a box could also be for the matrix.

I am sure you can understand that having to manually select rows and columns when testing a instrument Is a PITA

Another one is the handling of multiplexes and the different libraries.

Also the MAX7219 handling of LED's. Having this we could pump out many LED outputs to ULN2008A's and only use a few pins. Megas are not cheep when you have to buy a dozen or more.

Hi,

All these edge cases is exactly what message port is made for.

For 'normal' sized builds, the regular API is fine. For bigger, or more specialized build, you can go nuts with the Arduino framework.
There is no way that I can even fit all these use cases in one binary, it just won't fit :)

Agreed. Can I please ask again for the ability to run 2 instances of messageport with assigned serial ports ? - pretty please ? - I can then use the pico on two core individually making for a masterpiece of hardware. I will buy you three beers lol

My wish would be to get an additional custom version of Air Player, in order to open to projects which wouldn't require running flight simulator, or even easier, a persistent option which would allow to disable Air Player for internal flight simulator polling. This feature would allow to communicate either with messageport or usual way with Electronic boards, however it will disable the ability to subscribe or send commands to any flight simulator and bitmap or canvas will still be available ... 😎🙂

Hi,

I see why we want to go the 3D route.

Note the SVT coming in XP12.2 Corjan, Ralph

Sorry I did it this way. Forum says file too big.

Hi Gilles, I suggested this to Ralph more than a year ago in private talks as a great stand alone product that would probably outsell AM but he did not appear interested  I think there is a gold mine there !

Thanks for the feedback Joe, as I was still wondering without any answer on this. I'm thinking exactly the same, though I understand they don't go anything else than flight simulation, at least for the moment ...
