Description

The G5 is a relatively inexpensive glass upgrade for general aviation aircraft, replacing the attitude indicator with a modern electronic LCD primary flight display and the DG or HSI with a electronic LCD horizontal situation indicator, also often taking away the need of a heavy vacuum system.

The panel comes with a PFD and HSI, and up to 4 G5’s can be used in a simulator setup. It has lots of properties which can be set, to make it match your aircraft. Like several Vspeeds, speed, temperature and barometric units. It allows you to fly VOR/ILS and GPS, making it suitable for IFR training. See our wiki for a full user manual.

The Sim Innovations G5 is a resemblance of the real Garmin G5, but cannot be used for real Garmin G5 training, and is in no way endorsed by Garmin.

It requires an active Air Manager license to run this panel. This panel purchase will only work with the home use version, contact us for professional use.
